SIMPLE CONTROLSThe BAE 312A features an intuitive design with easy-to-use controls. A large, rugged dial controls gain settings, offering an impressive 66 dB of gain. The mic/instrument switch allows you to toggle between the microphone and high-impedance line level input on the front panel for recording direct instrument signals. The pad button reduces input gain for recording particularly loud instruments like heavy-hitting drummers or roaring guitar amps. The phase reversal button inverts the phase of a signalﾗperfect for recording snare bottom mics! The 48 V button provides phantom power for condenser microphones.
